I am a kind caring man who is looking for a relationship About me: I like to think I am continuing to grow as a person rather than becoming stagnant and in order to do that I need to meet new people from time to time in an attempt to expand my horizons. I have a good self-deprecating sense of humor which borders on the sarcastic but am a serious person at my core. Life is too short to take too seriously in my opinion. My personal interests tend to lean toward the more simple pleasures in life such as reading, coffee, wine, a good scotch, movies, socializing and good conversation. I have a lot of acquaintances but only a handful of friends by my own choice. To me, ‘friends’ are an extension of ‘family’ so I don’t throw the word around loosely.I am very particular regarding whom I associate myself with and I figure at my age I’ve earned the right to be. I would prefer to meet a down to earth "real" person who shares some of the same interests as I do. An open minded individual who is not too judgmental or bitter but learns and grows from life's little ordeals and can see the bigger picture as a result of those experiences. My son is my favorite companion.
